CORI/Kidsafe Mandatory Process
Massachusetts state law now mandates that a Criminal Record (CORI) check be performed on all volunteers over the age of 17. The process is actually quite simple. Go to the CORI/KIDSAFE FORM where Massachusetts Youth Soccer Association has a short form to complete which is sent to the Massachusetts Criminal System History Board. They then search for pending cases, convictions, and non-conviction criminal case data and only notify Holden Youth Soccer if there is a problem. This information is not available for dissemination for any purpose other than to further the protection of children. This information will be maintained in strict accordance with the directives of the Criminal System History Board.
Please make sure to use "Holden Youth Soccer" in the "Club Name" field and then when the confirmation form comes up verifying you have completed it, send the page to KDaignault@aol.com for entry into the Sports Pilot system. Again, this is a state mandated process for the protection of the children in town and no volunteers can work with the players until this has been completed and the verification form sent to Barbara Daignault, the HYS Registrar.
